Doomsday Theorists, Relax
Can we relax? Okay? About all this NBA ref stuff, and just let things take their course before we jump to conclusions.
Are the charges behind one idiot ref, and potentially others very serious? Yes. Is point shaving games a big deal. It’s huge, but nothing has actually happened yet, and since we’re in the dog days of summer, the media has nothing better right now to do, then to dissect the crap out of this story.
We’re already giving the NBA a black eye, and we don’t even know the whole story yet. If this is a major thing, where more then one guy is in the middle of, then you can pull your daggers out and stick them in the NBA’s integrity box. But for right now, would all the doomsday theorists sit down, take a break, maybe even grab a cold lemonade or something and let things happen.
It’s sad that its come to the point where the only news in sports is off the field, and the fact that we are so desperate for stories, has made a really bad story, fifty times worse.

Relax?! Have you been watching basketball? Even before these allegations became fact, refs were blowing games! All you have to do is take one look at the score card to see D-Wade’s 20+ foul shots and you know who’s getting special treatment!
While I understand your stance, the bigger issue that I’m trying to point out here is all the people who want to put the NBA’s integrity in a coffin over this. I just want to see how everything plays out before I jump to conclusion.
