PACMAN JONES’ WRESTLING DEBUT

Titans Get Restraining Order Preventing Contact

Pacman Jones’ wresting career with Total Nonstop Action (TNA) will be kind of like optional team activities (OTA). Both events prohibit contact. The Titans tried to get a restraining order keeping Pacman from wrestling, citing the terms in all NFL contracts that prohibit players from taking part in high-risk activities (Just wondering, isn’t it Pacman violating those terms every time he goes to a bar). The Titans and TNA ended up reaching an agreement that, allows him to perform under the stipulation that “he could not touch or be touched, grapple, shove, throw or have anything thrown at him by anyone working for or watching the show.”

It should be interesting trying to wrestle without touching each other. In his first event last night, a group of pretend police officers were on hand to restrain and arrest Pacman’s adversary as he tried going at Pacman. For my money, they were a bad representation of cops. A more realistic acting job would have them clubbing Pacman over the head.

He has nine more fights left on his contract, so they better have a really creative team over at TNA because theres not many other storylines you can do without touching someone. Perhaps they bring some ghosts out to fight him like in the video game that renders his name. You get by without touching him saying the ghosts are invisible, like Pacman’s future.

The full story on his wrestling debut is available at Yahoo.
