3-Year Veterans Make Great Coaches!
Why don’t the Browns save a roster spot by hiring Ken Dorsey as coach then activating him as a player if one of the other QBs gets hurt?-Mike, Bay Village
Maybe because Dorsey has only played three years and three bad years at that? First off, why would we want him at coach? Secondly, why would he want to coach? Fourth year losers don’t make good coaches; ten year losers usually do. Dorsey has a long, lucrative career ahead of him as a backup.
Last year, it was written that Romeo Crennel didn’t have a signature win. Does last week’s 51-45 victory over Cincinnati qualify as one?-Dan, Sante Fe
Almost as signature as Michigan’s win over Notre Dame. Cincy has a terrible defense, so scoring 50 on them isn’t a big accomplishment. Then, the D allowed 45. The Bengals only beat Baltimore week one because of a bad pass interference call on Todd Heap that took away their winning touchdown.
One more from Romeo:
Damn, did you just see that call?! What a bad call! Anderson’s arm was going forward! Should I challenge it?
No. You are 1-for-18 on successful challenges.
