Bond’s Won’t Shut Up, Sooners Crush Bad Opponent Again

One day till Sund and Barry Bonds has gotten himself in the news again. He’s only in the news when he makes a consious effor to do so. Mostly, it is because of him complaining about how the media or fans mistreet him. For example…

Mark Ecko, who bought Bonds’ record-breaking HR ball, is hosting an online poll to find out whether the ball will be sent to Cooperstown with an asterisk or sent to outer space. Bonds thinks that is immature and bad for baseball. He thinks the ball is historic and should be treated with respect. I think MLB’s rules and federal law should be treated with respect.

Bonds Again: Mad That The Giants Won’t Resign Him
So Bonds is on the decline, and he already set the record. Why would any team want him now? The Giants, for one, don’t. Bonds is claiming this is a travesty, bringing up all the points about how he played for them for a few seasons before this and how he did so much for the fans. How could they get rid of him? Even worse, they only gave him half a season to say goodbye to his teammates.

Oklahoma-64, Tulsa-21
