THIS IS JUST GETTING RIDICULOUS

Scott Jacobs

Hockey fan or not, the new jerseys, well, they’re not exactly a hit. But some fan’s comments: hillarious. Especially on Calgary

The new Reebok Edge template jerseys? Well, they’re not exactly getting rave reviews. But Calgary’s jersey? Well, its the most bizzarre fashion statement I’ve seen this century. How could anyone possibly like these?

You have to read the priceless comments people left on this crap:

The Flames’ patches are going to go down as one of the worst design decisions in NHL history. If the Flames are smart, they will be gone by the start of the season. It’ll being some negative PR, but it will be a short, relatively small flurry. It’ll help the franchise save face in the long-run.

ook at all that stuff going on from this angle:
the arms, the hemline, the piping, the pants, the socks…….all different. Nothing is uniform on this outfit. Those socks are beyond belief. UGGGGGGGGGGGLY
-letterform

seeing how horrendous the flames outfit is makes the putrid vancouver outfit prestigious.
-Z3R0SYST3M

As bad as a lot of these jerseys have been, the Edge socks have taken the award for “stupidest and most pointless redesign ever.” What the crap were they thinking? “Hey, they’re diagonal! It’s MODERN!”
-Armadillo

I think most people here hate most of the sets because most of them really suck. There isn’t really much to argue about.

Maybe I’m a design snob, but that quote really pisses me off. How could anyone (unless legally blind) say that they are “nearly identical?” There’s NOTHING identical about them other than the colors and primary logos. The design is different, all but the sleeve striping patterns is different, it has “piping for the sake of piping,” the pants have stripes and on and on. How in the bloody **** is that “nearly identical.” Whoever wrote the article needs to go see his optometrist.

There you have it… concrete proof that there is no God.
-winters in buffalo

There is a God, but he’s obviously not a Flames fan.
-Hat Boy

There you have it. Virtually an entire blog post of just other people’s comments. That I just thought was hillarious. But…

College Football Scores, Stats, Stories for Saturday, September 8 Oklahoma asserts their dominance, West Virginia runs, runs, runs, Nebraska holds on over Wake Forest, and Michigan takes on Oregon.

What do you think? Post your opinion in the comment section.
