Hey Stoopid!

Bench Peyton Manning!

Here we are with another weekly column where I make fun of the idiots who sent their Sunday questions in to the sports editors at the Cleveland Plain Dealer. First question:
Hey, Tony: If sitting the bench is the best way to develop a young QB, when will the Colts pull the plug on Manning and start Jim Sorgi?

A: Hey, Stoopid: I know you’re not serious; it’s just a cheap shot at the Browns for not starting Quinn. But, maybe that makes your question even stoopider. The Browns are 3-3, and Anderson ranks 10th for passing yards and 3rd for touchdowns. Hey, he’s starting for fantasy teams! A Browns QB hasn’t done that since… ever.

Hey, Hoynsie: It seems like no one talks about baseball’s biggest problem–no salary cap. [Boston had more money than Cleveland...]

A: Hey, Stoopid: I just have to stop you after the first sentence, because everyone talks about the lack of salary cap. Just like everyone talks about the BCS. But, when you know nothing is going to change, you can’t keep talking about it all the time.
