Hughes, Snow, and Varejao for Nash? How bout just Hughes?

I’d like to do that trade. Don’t think the Suns would. Marvin, I think you should go back to a high school cafeteria–freshman year–that’s what you sound like throwing out trade options that invovle three scrubs for an all-pro.

And, those three playing well in the Suns’ uptempo offense? None of those guys know how to play offense. And Hughes won’t be able to keep up with that offense since he’s hobbling all season.

Do you think the Cavs would consider Charles Oakley to help bolster their frontcourt? I read he’s willing to come back for two years, $10 million.-Mike Jones, Berea

$5 million a year for 3 points a game? Oakley hasn’t played in 4 years, and he has already played 18 years. The Cavs already have enough overpaid do-nothings–like everyone except LeBron, for example. Tell Oakley to take his 2 year contract and put it where Varejao’s contract is.

One more thing to show how old Oakley is: He appeared in Space Jam alongside Charles Barkley. And no, the aliens weren’t didn’t want Oakley’s talent.
