Image of the day: a tribute to Fresno State’s stunning College World Series championship.

Fresno State completed one of the most surprising runs in NCAA history, bouncing back from an early 8-12 record to win the WAC. Then upending Arizona State to make it to the CWS. Once there they took down mighty Rice and North Carolina, before surviving Georgia’s Bulldogs in three feisty games to win a national championship no one could have foreseen.
