He can probably get the Brewers into the post-season, but can he win them a TITLE? This team is putting all their eggs in the CC (No longer C.C.) basket. it's a bold move that is a half a season gamble for some very good minor leaguers. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. All I know is if they don't make the PLAYOFFS this will turn out to be a NIGHTMARE that they won't soon live down. Not to see it will.

I AM A CLEVELAND FAN. I HATE TO SEE CC GO! But I would tell you Brewer fans to relax. CC is a great pitcher and he may just win your team 10 games and as a plus he is the best hitting pitcher from the American League. He can flat out hit the ball and what's more...he love to have a bat in his hand. You can count on him to hit several home runs. CC CAN HELP GET YOU IN THE PLAYOFFS.

[...] Juiced Sports Blog is reporting that in the trade, Taylor Green was in the package for the Indians.
As of now, Taylor Green is not part of the deal. We're in contact with Taylor's agent very, very frequently.

Milwaukee's really mortgaging their future here. They're supposedly not going to resign either Sabathia or Sheets, so this sounds like all or nothing on the table, as the Brewers go for not just the playoffs, but a World Championship. It will be interesting to watch this saga unfold. Can you say Schilling-Johnson? This has the makings of something special. Potentially.
