Vick Pleading Guilty AGAIN

Michael Vick, already sentenced to 23 months in jail, is pleading guilty again to dogfighting charges.

The reason for this new trial is that he is guilty of both state and federal charges, transporting dogs over state lines and gambling being the federal charges that he has already been sentenced for.

He shouldn’t have to spend extra time in jail, already having a tough sentence.

Luckily, it looks like he won’t have to.

From the article:

With good behavior, the former Atlanta Falcons quarterback could have his sentence reduced to 18 months, which would result in a release from prison in the summer of 2009.

  1. No surprise here. I remember original reports suggesting that he could receive an additional sentence from the state on top of his federal sentence, but now that doesn’t look like the case.
