The Magic better show up with their A game on Sunday night or this final showcase of the NBA season may only finish with four acts...

Well after last nights fiasco the Van Gundi may be the only reason to continue to watch. My heart is magical but my head is in a lake. Resiliency has been a trademark of Howard and the 7 undwarves, but they have to be careful as Kobe looks to unfasten himself from the Great Three Second himself, Shaquille.
Keep up the good work ndougherty and I'll keep looking for your Walton-like posts.

So, since the Bruins lost in the second round of the NHL Playoffs (meaning they can't win the Cup this year) I should take the zero dollars I won from my presumptive bet, and put it on the Magic being ready to play this week? lol..

Well written article and I agree (with most of your points). Since most games aren't nail biters, it's good to have some guys who can be light and funny and provide a new reason to watch the game. Stan is great because he tells it how he sees it. He is a refreshing face in a sea of old and boring coaches. Mark is funny and sometimes ridiculous, but he doesn't hold back.

Still, can't help but wonder if there will be some bias in this series from Van Gundy. Hmmmm...
