*Results based on internal investigation by Memphis.

The University of Memphis has been accused of having some of their players engaging in academic misconduct, but Memphis released the results of an investigation they conducted that found that there is absolutely no possibility of them having cheated.

Memphis says it should keep the victories from the 2007-08 season that ended in the national title game after an internal investigation turned up no proof that a former men’s basketball player cheated on his SAT exam.

“Certainly, the University of Memphis should not suffer a financial penalty or vacation of records for the 2008 NCAA Tournament as a result of this allegation,” a report detailing the school’s investigation into NCAA allegations stated.

However, even though there is absolutely no possibility that former players cheated on their SATs, Memphis made sure that even if somehow there was some aspect of this investigation that they missed or didn’t disclose in their report that they shouldn’t be punish, anyway.

School officials argue that the program should not be penalized because the school was unaware of any wrongdoing.

Alright, NCAA, no need to investigate further. Memphis has already verified that they didn’t cheat.
