No LeBron, no problem!  Vitamin Water’s got something better lined up for the 2009 Finals: Superman

Before I unveil the big news, let it be known that this is not a joke.

A huge company is unveilling a new ad for the NBA Finals tonight, and (GASP) it doesn’t feature LeBron James or Kobe Dean Bryant.

Okay, did you catch your breath, take a glass of cold water, find a nice place to sit, do what you need to do to take in the news?

Good!  Here goes then: Dwight Howard is getting his own Vitamin Water ad.  In fact, thanks to our big high falutent connections, we have already seen the ad (trust us, it’s good) and we’re offering you the chance to check it out too.

But more importantly, we’re giving Kudos to Vitamin Water for giving Howard a chance to show that he has the best personality of all the elite NBA players, including (GASP) Kobe or LeBron.  Superman is funny and comes across as genuine and real.  It doesn’t feel like he’s getting a million dollar check shoved down his pocket so he can force out a smile.  That’s what’s great about this commercial.
