Wow Frank, nice work. I'd be lying if I said I was an avid fan of Division 1 AA. To be honest, I don't really know much at all about the teams at that level. Hard enough to keep track of the big boys at the top and the 3096 bowl games. That stat about UW having no one in the senior all star games and EWU having two really surprised me. Yes, even though I neglected to name him, Roos did make a $500,000 donation to get the project funded, and he's one of those good in the trenches guys for the Titans who doesn't get a ton of recognition, but it is a pro's pro at what he does. I'm curious how people react once they see it. Many won't even become aware of it, until close to the 2010 season when it starts popping up in those "fun fact" guide to the season things. But again, good stuff Frank. Very good stuff.

I did some research. EWU is actually pretty good in football, though at the Division 1 AA level. They were one of 16 teams in the playoffs, nationally ranked and had two players in the senior all-star games vs. one for WSU and zero for UW. Roos, the NFL player that paid for the turf, is an All-Pro that has started every game of his career. Not too bad. I wish them luck.
