Yeah, much adu about nothing. But I think what was interesting was the way that the commercial was marketed to us all week: pro-life campaign, anti-abortion. Really all it did was say, I didn't know if my baby would make it into this world, but look at how he turned out, and I'm so glad I never gave up on him. It was tender, loving, completely un-offensive and nothing like anyone expected. In actuality I actually finished that commercial liking Tim Tebow a whole heck of a lot more than I did before, because the story was honest, genuine and real. The Go-Daddy commercials are ridiculous and they get their fair share of disdain from feminist groups and the like, but the reason they get away with it is because they're not focusing on any on issue. The day they put in abortion into their ads is the day you'll hear an uproar. Plus, Tim Tebow was really the reason this ad was as controversial as it was. Players just don't do commercials that may be against others' values anymore, but Tim is different. He has said he will stay true to his beliefs no matter what anyone/any team says. I think we can all respect that, whether you agree with his beliefs or not.
