Programmer’s Note: Prepared to be Confused

Programmer’s Note: Prepared to be Confused

Do not adjust your TV sets, Virginia Tech is going back to the future tonight and the Broncos will be mighty silver.  Avert your eyes if you must

SCOTT JACOBS

The much ballyhooed Virgina Tech-Boise State game is tonight, but you probably won’t recognize either team at first glance.  Unless you’re a uniform/logo nerd like myself.

That’s right, Virginia Tech will be sporting their all new, all black Nike Pro Combat jerseys tonight.  And take a look at the numbers when you have  a minute.  Was that a CTR-ALT-DEL button that I saw?  Meanwhile, Boise State also has decided to rock out their new duds tonight too.  Odd choice, for both teams to wear their weird looks on the same night.  The causal fan will probably feel like they’re watching some sci-fi space football movie, but I digress.  The looks are unique and strange, and not likely to stick.  Va Tech’s family portrait is above. I’ll make you wait for Boise’s tonight.

TCU wore their crazy frog skinned ones on Saturday in their win over Oregon State, who incidentally is also one of the ten teams set to trot out their weird new “alternate” jersey this year.
