Double Coverage: Week 6, the picks
Better late than never. After a rare off week, our resident pickatologist is back. And he’s resting his hopes on… the Lions?
MIKE KAYE
Last Week’s Record: 5-8 / Season Record: 40-31 / Guest Pick: 3-2 (1-0 last week)
Miserable week of picks, miserable week period. My computer broke that why my beloved fans are getting my picks late, I apologize to the 3 people and my dog who read this.
Dolphins @ Packers-The Pick: Packers. I know you’re thinking “what about all the injuries?” Well that still seems better then the hard to predict Dolphins. I think Aaron Rodgers will play.
Chargers @ Rams-The Pick Chargers. Not even the Chargers should be able to screw this win up. I think San Diego is far superior in all departments but they do have the tendency to lose to teams much less talented. Rivers is will put up some big numbers, I promise.
Ravens @ Patriots-The Pick: Ravens. Baltimore is the best team in the AFC in my opinion and they will prove it against a Moss-less but pro-Branch Patriots team. Ray Rice might be shut down by the New England linebackers but I think Anquan Boldin can overpower the Pats secondary.
Browns @ Steelers-The Pick: Steelers. Ben’s going to rape the Browns and their defense and I personally don’t care if it’s too early to say that because unlike the allegations that gave him his suspension, this pick will be proven true.
Chiefs @ Texans-The Pick: Chiefs. The former Texans will take on the current Texans in a redundancy Bowl. Jamaal Charles is going to run all over the now-pathetic Houston D.
Lions @ Giants- The Pick: Lions. Ya, that’s right, I said it. Half of it is wishful thinking and the other half is I feel like the last two years every time NYG gets close to redeeming themselves, they come back with an awful loss. Detroit got some confidence last week, here’s hoping they keep it up.
Falcons @ Eagles. The Pick: Guest Pick.
Scott Jacobs: Falcons. Kevin Kolb will get the start for Philadelphia which had too much chaos to function like normal NFL team. I think the Falcons are a pretty good team, and even with a week to give Kolb all the snaps, I think Atlanta goes into Philly and continues to prove it’s worth as an NFC team to be reckoned with.
Seahawks @ Bears- The Pick: Bears. This is probably the hardest game to pick as both teams are wishy-washy. I’ll take the home team as Seattle is traveling East. I like the Bears ability to force turnovers.
Saints @ Buccaneers- The Pick: Saints. Saints could put up some numbers in this one. I don’t like picking NFC South games because they aren’t ever what you expect. Saints are the better team and maybe they can finally prove they deserve to be defending champs.
Jets @ Broncos- The Pick: Broncos. I know my idol Brian Dawkins is out but I think the Jets are too cocky. The newly cemented Fantasy Football hero, Kyle Orton, could take advantage of a Revis-less Island.
Raiders @ 49ers-The Pick: 49ers. This game is going to be tight but I think Mike Singletary’s 54th vote of confidence in Alex Smith will do his team good. Vernon Davis should be open a lot due to his speed.
Cowboys @ Vikings-The Pick: Cowboys. It is weird that a game of 1-3 teams would be the game of the week but for the loser it is essentially game over. The coach will get fired and the QB will face a large amount of scrutiny. Well at least each team has an overrated WR they acquired in mid-season trades.
Colts @ Redskins-The Pick: Colts. I hope that I am not wrong about this game but I wouldn’t be surprised. Redskins seem to be willed to wins via defense but I think Peyton can pick on them.
Titans @ Jags-The Pick: Titans. I will be at this game and am looking forward to see if Garrard can go three game without screwing up. I doubt it will happen but kudos to him if I am wrong.

Very appealing topic, it isn’t something I hear a lot about
I’ve said that least 2386407 times. The problem this like that is they are just too compilcated for the average bird, if you know what I mean
