Double Coverage: Week 9, the picks

Double Coverage: Week 9, the picks

Sorry about missing last week, but I’ll make it up with a few sure things…Lets go

MIKE KAYE

(Based off of 2 weeks ago) Last Week: 7-6 / Season: 53-44 / Guest: 3-4 (0-1 last week)

Jets @ Lions- The Pick: Lions. This will be considered a huge upset but I greatly disagree, there is no better coached team or are team that tries harder then Detroit. The most underrated D-line in years will be scary for the inconsistent Jets O-line.

Dolphins @ Ravens- The Pick: Ravens. The Ravens are a good defense and offense going up against a younger mirror of themselves. The Ravens win a close one after winning the turnover battle.

Patriots @ Browns- The Pick: Patriots. It’s a shame that Colt McCoy has been placed in the starting lineup against the AFC elite right away. He will be hunted by fellow rookie Jermaine Cunningham and his defense will be picked on by my mid-season MVP Tom Brady.

Chargers @ Texans- The Pick: Texans. Two teams that are way better then their record because they keep losing to themselves. I think the Texans are better coached and have more talent but I think Philip Rivers puts up huge numbers.

Bears @ Bills-The Pick: Bears. Chicago finally gets back on track as the Bears play the 2008 Lions of 2010 (hope that makes sense). Jay Cutler will prove he can be a good quarterback when he flows against a bad team…oh wait that means he’s not a good QB after all.

Cardinals @ Vikings- The Pick: Cardinals. The corpse that is Brett Farve won’t be able to Calais Campbell and Darnell Dockett in this game of underachieving teams. Derek Anderson will try to prove once again, that he is a starter.

Buccaneers @ Falcons- The Pick: Falcons. My brain tells me Falcons, but part of my gut thinks the Bucs showup. This is a huge statement game for the AFC South as it will see the winner up to be alone in the lead. Falcons are tough at home so I go with them.

Saints @ Panthers- The Pick: Saints. The Panthers won’t win a lot of games this year, and they won’t win this one. Saints are trying to get back to the top of the NFC South and this game will help.

Giants @ Seahawks- The Pick: Seahawks. The Giants are due a huge let down. The Jackyll and Hyde of the NFL, the Seahawks can sneak up on the great pass rushers and Eli. This will be close but Seattle surprises all of us.

Colts @ Eagles-Guest Pick: Eagles. John Weidner, media manager of the new Jacksonville ABA basketball team will make the pick this week. “I feel one loss doesn’t justify a season and other then that loss, I think they are doing well.”

Chiefs @ Raiders- The Pick: Chiefs. Most intriguing match of the week. Both teams have very successful season in comparison to last year and both are immensely talented. Oakland is very athletic and talented but they don’t have the speed to match up with the Chief’s lightning fast playmakers.

Cowboys @ Packers- The Pick: Packers. This is going to be embarrassing on national TV. The Packers are the good NFC 3-4 and the Boys are the terrible managed NFC 3-4.

Steelers @ Bengals-The Pick: Steelers. This will be close but I don’t trust the Bengals offense, especially against Dick Lebeau’s 3-4.
