MIKE KAYE
Picks 1-16 / Picks 17-32 / Round 2
1. New England ^ (CAR) (1-12) / Shane Vereen / Cal / RB
BGE ain’t cutting it, even if he has an awesome name.
2. Cincinnati (2-11) / Christian Ponder / FSU / QB
Bye, bye Carson. Hello new Coach and QB.
3. Detroit (3-10) / Nate Solder / Colorado / OT
Protecting is important when you have an injury-prone Franchise QB.
4. Buffalo (3-10) / Demarcus Love / Arkansas / OT
Someone needs to protect a Harvard grad.
5. Denver (3-10) / Rahim Moore / UCLA / FS
Dawkins is retiring and chances are the whole Defense will change, this one is less predictable then I am making it out to be.
6. Dallas (4-9) / Jimmy Smith / Colorado / CB
Terrence Newman looked so bad Sunday Night it was almost laughable.
7. Arizona (4-9) / Jared Crick / Nebraska / DE/DT
Darnell Dockett is great but is eventually going to need to be replaced.
8. Tennessee (5-8) / Greg Jones / Michigan State / OLB
Will Witherspoon has played well but at this stage in his career, he is a backup.
9. Washington (5-8) / Mikel Leshoure / Illinois / HB
Portis and the wheel-o-running back system can only last so long.
10. Houston (5-8) / Bruce Carter / UNC / OLB
Extra juice for Brian Cushing and Co. (Too Soon?)
11. Minnesota (5-8) / Drake Nevis / LSU / DT
Pat Williams is retiring sooner then he thinks.
12. Cleveland (5-8) / Kyle Rudolph / Notre Dame / TE
A power running team needs a good short-yardage passing option.
13. San Francisco (5-8) / Cameron Heyward / Ohio State / DE/DT
Gives another look at the opposite side of Jason Smith inbetween Franklin, their Pro Bowl-worthy NT.
14. Seattle (6-7) / Ras-I-Dowling / Virginia / CB
Marcus Trufant is getting up there in age and Kelly Jennings will not be a Seahawk next year.
15. Oakland (6-7) / Kris O’Dowd / USC / C
Samson Satele has nothing on O’Dowd is a local product for Al Davis.
16. Indianapolis (7-6) / Quan Sturdivant / UNC / MLB
There is only so much Gary Brackett can do at his age.
17. Denver ^(MIA) (7-6) / Justin Houston / Georgia / DE/OLB
Better option than Mario Haggan.
18. San Diego (7-6) / Ryan Broyles / Oklahoma / KR
Special teams needs a boast for the worst in the league.
19. Green Bay (8-5) / Jerrell Powe / Ole Miss / NT
The d-line needs depth at the rate this team gets injured.
20. Tampa Bay (8-5) / Rodney Hudson / FSU / OG
In my friend Ryan’s opinion, the best guard in the draft.
21. St. Louis (6-7) / Marvin Austin / UNC / DT
Adding to the rough defense Spags enjoys.
22. Kansas City (8-5) / Matt Reynolds / BYU / OT
Brandon Albert has been a disappointment.
23. Jacksonville (8-5) / Nathan Enderle / Idaho / QB
The keys to the QB throne in a few years go to this guy.
24. Chicago (9-4) / Joseph Barksdale / LSU / OT
Have you seen their O-Line? It’s a Jackson Pollack painting without the color.
25. New York Jets (9-4) / Lance Kendricks / Wisconsin / TE
Another safety net for game-manager Mark Sanchez.
26. Baltimore (9-4) / John Moffitt / Wisconsin / OG
Matt Birk is getting old and Moffitt can play the any position on the O-Line.
27. New York Giants (9-4) / Deandre McDaniel / Clemson / S
Deon Grant is good but inconsistent as is Antrel Rolle.
28. New Orleans (10-3) / Robert Sands / West Virginia / S
Darren Sharper ain’t getting any younger.
29. Philadelphia (9-4) / Nate Irving / NC State / ILB/MLB
Forces Stew Bradley back to his natural strong side position, which could be the team’s benefit.
30. Pittsburgh (10-3) / Darius Morris / Temple / OT
As usual, Steelers need O-line help.
31. Atlanta (11-2) / DeVier Posey / Ohio State / WR-
Better 2nd option then Michael Jenkins.
32. New England (11-2) / Pat Devlin / Delaware / QB
Gives Brady a Young apprentice.

Another Arkansas drive ends without points. Petrino calls for a pass on 4th-and-1 and OSU’s Cameron Heyward knocks it down.
