Juiced Sports Presents: V3, Our 2011 Mock NFL Draft, Round 2

Round 2 of our third 2011 NFL Mock Draft

MIKE KAYE

Picks 1-16 / Picks 17-32Round 2 / Round 3

33.  New England (^ CAR) / Rodney Hudson / OG / FSU
Hudson is the replacement and/or insurance for Logan Mankins.

34.  Denver / Ryan Williams / HB / Virginia Tech
A back-up for the oft-injured Knowshon Moreno.

35.  Buffalo / Kyle Rudolph / TE / Notre Dame
Talented tight end who is a steal in the second round and can be the number one option on the offense.

36.  Cincinnati / Ryan Mallett / QB / Arkansas:
Mallett is the leader that Carson thinks he is, but does he have the talent?

37.  Arizona / Christian Ponder / QB / FSU
Ponder regained some followers at the Senior Bowl, here is hoping he keeps them…

38.  Cleveland / Cameron Jordan / DE / Cal
Another Defensive End to help the Browns transition their defense.

39.  San Francisco / Aaron Williams / CB /Texas
San Fran needs a guy to play nickel corner and possibly replace the over-paid Nate Clements. This is a steal.

40.  Tennessee /
Davon House / CB / New Mexico State
The secondary is okay but could need fire-power if McCourty and Hope decide to leave after this season.

41.  Dallas / Jason Pinkston / OT / Pittsburgh
The Alex Barron/Doug Free thing didn’t really work, did it?

42.  Washington / Demarco Murray / RB / Oklahoma
Murray is a big name that will attract the fanbase and Dan Snyder.

43.  Houston / Johnny Patrick / CB / Louisville
Patrick is decent cover guy and that is what exactly Houston’s historically awful secondary needs.

44.  Minnesota / Brandon Burton / CB / Utah
Depth has proven to be a constant need for the Vikes at the corner position and Burton is more than serviceable.

45.  Detroit / Curtis Brown / CB / Texas
Corner is a need and Brown doesn’t have a lot of separation in talent from Aaron Williams which makes him appealing.

46.  St. Louis / Jordan Todman / RB / UConn
A back-up is badly needed for Stephen Jackson.

47.  Denver (^MIA) / Demarcus Love / OT/OG / Arkansas
Could take the place of Ryan Harris at RT and could help out in the interior line.

48.  Jacksonville / Quinton Carter / FS / Oklahoma
The Jags could use help in the secondary and Carter comes from a great defensive program.

49.  Oakland / Orlando Franklin / OG / UM
With Robert Gallery likely to leave via free agency, Franklin will be the serviceable successor.

50.  San Diego / Greg Jones / LB  /  Michigan State
A true leader and talent, this Spartan will improve the linebacker core.

51.  NY Giants / Benjamin Ijalana / OG / Villanova
The interior could use an oil change and Ijalana could be the mechanic.

52.  Tampa Bay / Marcus Cannon / OT / TCU
Somebody has to block opposite Donald Penn, believe it or not…

53.  Kansas City / Stefen Wisnewski / C/G / Penn. State
Casey Wiegaman can only play for so long and at this point Stefie W would be a steal.

54.  Indianapolis / Joseph Barksdale / OT / LSU
The right pick for a team that hurt from not taking a left tackle in the first round last year.

55.  Philadelphia / Bruce Carter / OLB / UNC
Carter would be a welcomed addition for a team that needs a lot of help at linebacker.

56.  New Orleans / Cameron Hayward / DE / Ohio State
Dude is a straight beast and can really improve the run defense.

57.  Seattle / Daniel Thomas / RB / Kansas State
The answer to the mediocre running back problem.

58.  Baltimore / Ras-I Dowling / CB / Virginia
Josh Wilson is nice, but he can only do some much.

59.  Atlanta / Jabaal Sheard / DE / Pittsburgh
Sheard falls due to need but he is a big talent and could be an immediate starter.

60.  New England / Christian Ballard / DE/DT / Iowa
This pick will almost definitely be traded for future picks as the Pats continue to be smarter than everyone but Ballard would be a key addition if they make this choice.

61.  Chicago / Brooks Reed / OLB / Arizona
Lance Briggs gets a running mate that doesn’t run his mouth as much as Brian Urlacher.

62.  San Diego (^ NYJ) / Rahim Moore / FS / UCLA
Local guy that can help improve the defense immediately.

63.  Pittsburgh
/ Ahmad Black / SS / Florida
Ryan Clark is getting old and he can’t play in Denver…so there.

64.  Green Bay / DeAndre McDaniel / SS/FS / Clemson
Nick Collins is nice but I have noticed he can be a liability in coverage.
