Kris Jenkins retires after struggling with knee injuries

Former New York Jets and Carolina Panthers Defensive Tackle Kris Jenkins announced retirement earlier today as his latest comeback attempt was once more stalled due to his knee injuries. The DT was often considered a top player at his position throughout his career, but recent injuries had limited his playing time. Jenkins tore his ACL a couple times in the past few years and despite interest from several teams this offseason, he decided the best thing for himself was to retire.
