NFL lockout ends after NFLPA okays deal

Roger Goodell happily said “Football is back” to the world today as the NFL Player’sĀ AssociationĀ has okayed a deal put on the table by owners earlier in the negotiation process. The deal splits revenue 53-47 in favor of the owners as opposed to a roughly even split in the prior deal. Details about the contract are still surfacing and the NFLPA still has to organize itself as a union again and every player has to accept the agreement.
