Ravens cut Todd Heap, Derrick Mason, and others

On the first day after the end of the lockout, NFL teams were busy making up for lost time. The Baltimore Ravens announced that they would cut Todd Heap, Derrick Mason, Willis McGahee, and Kelly Gregg in an effort to reduce salary. The players will save the Ravens over $18 million in the salary cap, but there is a possibility that they approach the players with lower-costing deals later this offseason.
