Ron Artest changed his name to Metta World Peace for a reason

Call the guy what you want, but Ron Artest, in his own quirky way, actually seems like he’s a pretty good guy. Yes, the malace at the palace forever linked him to one of sports’ wildest incidents, but the man did his time, and since then he’s been pretty much a model citizen. Is Metta World Peace a strange guy? Yes, but in our own ways, all of us are strange too.
Metta World Peace recently swung by RocaWear to talk to them about the new name, his new reality show, and the Lockout amongst others. It’s an interesting listen and at less than 5 minutes, is short too. Check it out.
