Texas Rangers’ win streak at 11
With a 3-1 win over the Seattle Mariners yesterday, the Texas Rangers continued their win streak to 11 as the team extended its lead atop the AL West. The 55-41 Rangers are four games above the Los Angeles Angels. The Rangers are only three wins away from tying their club record of 14 straight wins. A lot of the recent success is attributed to stellar performances by the Rangers’ pitching staff, which has had a collective ERA of 2.09 and has held opposing batters to a batting average of .194.
