Vladamir Guerrero on DL with broken bone in right hand
Baltimore Orioles‘ designated hitter Vladamir Guerrero was placed on the 15-day disabled list after breaking his right hand off of a hit pitch from Boston Red Sox pitcher Kyle Weiland on July 10th. Orioles manager Buck Showalter expressed hope of having Guerrero back by July 26. The loss should be substantial for the Orioles who are struggling in last place in the AL East. Guerrero has 7 home runs this year, 31 RBI, and a .279 batting average.
