Last Week: 7-7 / Overall: 65-58-6 / Best Bets: 12-10-3 / Monday Night: 6-4 / Against Cincy: 1-7
Denver +3.5 @ Kansas City
If Matt Moore can smoke the Chiefs, Tebow can lose by three.
Jacksonville -3 @ Indianapolis
MJD fantasy owners will get their first win of the season. The Colts simply don’t want to win and the Jags are a proud bunch.
New Orleans @ Atlanta +1
Both teams can score. The Falcons have a defense though. Take the home team on a roll.
Houston @ Tampa Bay +3.5
The Bucs have been slumping due to injuries but have hung in tight against two of the best teams in the league recently. Houston is hot, but they have been feasting on the weaklings of the AFC. In fact, they have only beaten one team with a winning record all year. Tampa wins straight up.
Pittsburgh -3 @ Cincinnati
The Steelers have lost twice. The following games they have destroyed opponents by a total of 62-17. These are still the Bengals and they have still beaten nobody with the exception of the Bills, who may be turning out to be overrated.
Tennessee @ Carolina -3.5
The Titans have fallen apart after losing Kenny Britt and Chris Johnson is a non-factor. They will not be able to keep up with Cam Newton.
Buffalo @ Dallas -5.5
The Cowboys should have focus. They can win five in a row against garbage teams before a brutal four game NFC stretch of games to finish the season. They know they have to make hay right now. The Bills may have been exposed by the Jets last week. Dallas has the speed and aggression on defense to match New York’s performance last week.
Arizona @ Philadelphia -13.5
My God, if the Eagles can’t rout the Cardinals and their backup quarterback…
St. Louis +2.5 @ Cleveland
I don’t get it. Rams cruise.
Washington @ Miami -4
Another stellar game. The Dolphins have shown heart and still have playmakers. The Skins haven’t been able to stay in a game since they lost Moss and Hightower.
Baltimore -7 @ Seattle
The Ravens know they can’t afford another letdown against a clearly inferior team like they did against Jacksonville. Confidence has to be sky high after coming back against the Steelers and they will handle it appropriately.
NY Giants +3 @ San Francisco
This is the first time in a while that I feel nervous for the 49ers. The Giants are a dangerous team and can take down one of the surprise teams of the year.
Detroit @ Chicago -3
Zero sacks on Cutler last week? Could the Bears have found a formula to keep him off his back? We’ll see when the Lions get a crack at him. The Bears are playing too well right now to allow themselves to be swept by a division foe not named the Packers.
New England @ NY Jets -1.5
The Patriots haven’t won in New Jersey since 2008. They’re not playing close to well enough to reverse that trend this week.
Minnesota +14 @ Green Bay
After the halfway point of the season undefeated teams start having to earn their wins a little bit more as the games get closer than they should be. The Vikings almost shocked the champs a few weeks ago and now have Ponder and Peterson putting points on the scoreboard.
Best Bets: Tampa Bay, Chicago, Pittsburgh
