Week 11 Picks (Against the Spread)

Last Week: 7-8  /  Overall: 72-66-6  /  Best Bets: 14-11-3  /  Monday Night: 6-5  /  Against Cincy: 2-8

This may be the worst slate of NFL games in the history of the league.  Just about every game is a battle of crap teams or a blowout waiting to happen.  When the two most interesting games feature the Broncos and the Bengals, you know you should probably make other plans.

Tennessee @ Atlanta -6.5

Dear Titans, a win over a 2-7 team doesn’t impress me.

Seattle +2 @ St. Louis

Dear Rams, nor does a win over a 3-6 team.  But a win over the Ravens does.  Good job Seahawks.  And thank you for wrecking half the the population’s survivor pools.

Philadelphia @ NY Giants -4.5

And the second half of the population was wiped out by the Eagles.  Vick may not even play, but even if he does it means nothing anymore.  They have only beaten the Cowboys, the Rams, and the Redskins.  Put that in perspective and tell me how they have a shot against the division leader on the road.

Buffalo @ Miami -2

The Dolphins have separated themselves from the group of teams going after the first pick in the draft and are handing out F.U. cards to teams that were good at some point.  Hey there Buffalo!

Cincinnati @ Baltimore -7

If the Ravens lose to the Jaguars, the Seahawks, and the Bengals all in one season, Ray Lewis will invite Joe Flacco and the offensive coordinator to his Super Bowl party.  In case you don’t get it, that means he’ll arrange for them to be murdered and then cover it up.  Cause that what Ray Lewis does at Super Bowl parties.

Jacksonville +1 @ Cleveland

The spread is one.  That should also be the line on the number of points the Browns will score.

Oakland -1 @ Minnesota

If the Vikings were getting a couple more points I’d jump on them.  They’re not as bad as they looked Monday night.  But it’s basically a pick ‘em so I think the Raiders are ready to go on a roll again.

Carolina +7 @ Detroit

The Lions can’t score all of a sudden and have their biggest game of the decade four days later.  Newton should be able to keep it close.

Tampa Bay @ Green Bay -14

Just can’t justify going against Green Bay right now.  Tampa is in a tailspin and this is not what they need to turn things around.

Dallas -7.5 @ Washington

The Boys found their form.  The Skins can’t find the other team’s side of the field.  Blow.  Out.

Arizona @ San Francisco -9.5

The 49ers might score 49 points and the Cardinals may only have 49 yards of offense.

San Diego @ Chicago -3.5

Something’s just plain wrong with the Chargers.  They can’t get their running game going and people are picking Rivers like Keith Richards picks a guitar.  The Bears have won as many in a row as San Diego has lost.  FYI, that’s a lot of games.

Kansas City +15 @ New England

The Pats simply don’t play well against backup quarterbacks getting their first start.  Feely in ’07.  Flynn in ’10.  Palko in ’11?  And their defense still sucks.  Shutting down Mark Sanchez is anything but a badge of honor or sign of improvement.  Throw in the fact that the Chiefs have New England’s old coordinators and quarterback and this stinks of a four point win in which Belichick walks away wiping his forehead.

Best Bets: Jacksonville, Dallas, San Francisco
