Suck for Luck? Suck for Nobody! Colts beat Texans courteous of Dan Orlovsky’s gritty comeback
SCOTT JACOBS
If there was any question on whether the Colts were tanking their season for the rights to the #1 pick and the almighty Andrew Luck, that debate is now dead. After a stirring comeback to beat the 10 win Texans, Indianapolis’ shocking win (the first 1 win team over a 10+ win team in NFL history) re-opened up a Sweepstakes that appeared to already be won: the Suck for Luck sweepstakes that is. The Colts still hold the tie-breaker, but the fact that the race for the bottom is still alive after Indy started out with a 0-13 record is kind of amazing. What is Andrew Luck worth now, with Matt Barkley back to school? And what to make of Dan Orlovsky, who continues to fight adversity on horrendous teams? What might his value be now? Juiced Sports Radio breaks it down.

I was ready for Orlovsky to run out of the back of the endzone for old time’s sake. Didn’t happen. I don’t see this Texans team as being a threat in the playoffs without Schaub or Johnson healthy.
Houston looks like a one and done. However, given that they’re locked into the 3 seed, and will avoid the Baltimore/Pittsburgh 5 seed, I could see them beating any of the teams that can still land in the 6th and final AFC playoff slot: Cincy, Oakland, NYJ, or Tennessee (of those 4 none look capable of making a Packers-esque run anywhere this post-season)… And none are playing all that well, though Cincy appears to be the best of that bunch.
