Scott Jacobs

“I like this kid. This guy knows what he’s talking about”-Clinton Portis

Jacobs is a huge sports fan, probably the biggest Arizona sports fan in the state of Florida. He has a vast amount of experience in the sports writing field and has been privileged to interview many exciting and interesting people. In 2006 Jacobs interviewed Shaquille O’Neal, Dwyane Wade, Alonzo Mourning, Gary Payton, and numerous other players from the Miami Heat. He also interviewed numerous stars from the Men’s and Women’s AVP Tour, and did numerous pieces for the Sun Sentinel. Jacobs has interviewed athletes of all kinds, writers, and even a hot dog vendor at a State College Spikes game back in 2006.

Jacobs has also been published in Rise Magazine, and is currently a sports writer for the FSView and Florida Flambeau. He believes that Juiced Sports offers a unique experience to it’s visitors, a mainstream site, with a local down to earth feel. Of Juiced Sports early success Jacobs says, “This folks is just the beginning.”

J is a 40 year old sports fanatic who grew up in Boston, but got sick of the snow so he moved to the west coast of Florida. He has a wonderful wife and an 11 year old son, who shares his passion for sports and is the star of his Little League team. In addition to local freelance work he has two blogs that he produces: Curt’s Bloody Sock and the Tampa Bay Bostonian. He also contributes to the baseball website Bugs and Cranks. You may not agree with everything he says, but hey he’s from Boston, he’s used to it.
